10 Tips To Better Sales

Here are 10 easy to implement, ways to increase your online sales in no time at all.

1. After you make a sale, make sure you contact the buyer. Send an email thanking the customer for there purchase and include links to other products you advertise. You can email them once a week to make sure everything is working out well for them. The main objective of this approach is to build a relationship with the buyer, so constant correspondence is needed.

2. Don't forget about the one time offers. Once they click on the order this item link, inform them of other items that your are selling that would work well with what they are buying now. Make sure they have the option to add these products to there order if they so desire.

3. Tell your customers if they refer four customers to your web site, they will receive a full rebate of their purchase price. This will turn one sale into three sales. The refunds won't be to much of an issue, due to the fact most of your buyers that take you up on this will only refer 1 or 2 people then stop.

4. When you sell an item to a customer, give your customers the option of joining an affiliate program so they can make commissions selling your product. This will help you multiply your sales without putting in any more effort.

5. Sell the reprint/reproduction rights to your products. Offer this as one of your upgrades to up sell the customer or include the ad in the download. You could make sales for the reproduction rights and sales on the back end product.

6. If you have more than 1 product to sell group it together with other similar products at a discount. Build a fly in add for the special package that you can place on every page, for every product you sell.

7. If shipping a product to your customers, include a discount coupon for other like items that you may be selling. This will help to stimulate additional purchases from the same customer.

8. Create a catalog of other products you promote so you can send it to your current customers that have already purchased from you. This could be upgrades, special services, attachments, etc. If they enjoy your product they will buy the extra add-ons.

9. Sell gift certificates for your products. You will receive extra money from the sale of the gift card. The recipient of the gift card may never use it, so your in the money and if they do there is a chance they will buy more products from your site.

10. Send your customers free products with their product package. These gifts should have your website url imprinted somewhere on the product. You could have t-shirts with your logo and website url and give them away to your customers. This is a great way to get free advertising for your website while people are wearing your ad.

Thats it. You should start to implement these steps right now, and the more you use the more you will make. As I said, they are easy to start using but the outcome could be a substantial increase in your conversion and/or buy rate which is the ultimate goal. It is extremely important to make your customer and/or prospect feel special and to provide them with additional value-added items that will keep them coming back.
