If you are looking for happiness in your life, you may want to consider learning how to make people happy. Indeed, being a source of happiness for others is also a good source of happiness and self-worth for yourself. For you to be able to at least make this world a happier place to live, here are some tips to make people around you happy.

- Love. Tell and show your loved ones you love them. Love is one of the best sources of happiness in this world and if you want to make people around you happy, show them that you care and you love them. Fulfill other people's wishes and needs, protect them, make them feel special, and be a source of love for them.

- Don't compare yourself to others. This will eventually develop into insecurity, jealousy, envy, frustrations and may end up putting a strain in your relationship with others. Just be yourself and do the best of what you can.

- Share your blessings. Don't just count them. Give and share what you have. One of the best ways on how to make people happy is to let them feel that they are loved and cared for and you can do this by giving. This is not only good for the receiver, but for the giver as well. Giving is indeed a great source of happiness. It may not always mean giving material things, sharing your talents and skills to other people would surely help you learn how to make people happy.

- Be a positive influence to others. Of course, people love to be with positive people who are happy and who does not waste time on negativity such as meddling into other people's lives.

- Help someone. Being of help to other people especially those who need it most is a great source of happiness for you as well. Even if it is as simple as giving a stranger a direction, or helping a neighbor with a simple chore... there are many things that you can do to help.

- Choose to be happy and you will eventually make other people happy too. Happiness is contagious and you can start by wearing a smile on your face, or sharing a funny thought, or share your humor with officemates if you are gifted with this ability. Everyone loves a happy person and being one can make you likeable and attractive as well.

- Don't stop making other people happy. Although happiness is a matter of choice, you can make someone's day brighter with a smile, a humorous drawing in your email or fax to a colleague, leaving thank you notes to people you care about, a small hug, a warm embrace... there are a hundred ways on how to make people happy.

If you feel unhappy, put other people's happiness first in your list and strive to make them happier and you will eventually feel happy as well.
